| Step 2 Protect and Beautify |
This step can only be completed once the wood has been thoroughly cleaned and the surface prepared. This should also include sanding areas as needed. Remember this is a deck and it is normal to have rough finished surfaces. It is not living room furniture. Application of finishes can be very tricky. We want a uniform blending of the finish without lap marks or blotchy spots. Below is the completed project from our Step 1 clean/restore - this is also an example of multi finishes which is a little more costly and time consuming.
